11 Moisture analysis
11.1 Define the drying method
The optimum drying parameters (drying temperature and drying period) depend on
the type and size of the sample and the required accuracy of the measuring result.
In most cases it is only possible to find out the sample-specific parameters by trial
and error.

11.1.1 Setting the drying temperature
The drying temperature influences considerably the measuring time. It must be
selected in a way that the sample neither does decay nor changes its chemical
structure. A too deep drying temperature lengthens innecessarily the drying time.
