MAINTENANCE

Tires

Periodically check tire pressure. Tires should be inflated to manufacturer's suggested specifications. Higher
pressures may cause excessive bouncing over rough ground. Lower pressures may cause excessive wear.
Maximum airplane tire inflation pressure is 50 PSI, minimum inflation pressure is 40PSI. Inflate ribbed tires to
manufacturers rated PSI as shown on the tire sidewall. DO NOT over inflate.
Periodically check tire condition and replace if it is excessively worn, cut or damaged.
Torque the wheel bolts to a 120 ft.-lbs minimum and 140 ft.-lbs maximum. Torque all bolts in a star pattern.
Ensure the tapered side of the wheel nut is in contact with the rim when attaching the 11L x15 tire and the flat
side of the wheel nut is in contact with the rim when attaching the aircraft tire.
