The use of “will fit” parts may reduce the performance, void Schulte warranties, and present a safety hazard. Use genuine Schulte parts for economy and safety.

Some regulations specify that no one under the age of 16 may operate power machinery. It is your responsibility to know what these regulations are in your own area or situation. Page 30 When ordering replacement parts for the Gearboxes and the Drivelines, be sure to specify the serial number. The serial number is located on the left hand side attached to the SRW1000 hitch pole. Driveline Integral Shields, and Gearbox Shields are standard equipment and are to be used at all times.

Page 36 6. Raise Drum and Carriage assembly into place and attach with drum clamps that were removed in step 4. 7. Install the Hydraulic Cylinder to the Drum Carriage and Main Frame. Page 40: Before Operation
Check tire inflation pressure. Higher pressures may cause excessive bouncing over rough ground. Lower pressure may cause excessive wear. Refer to maintenance section for recommended tire pressure. Page 41: Drum Sprocket
Using the supplied wrench, pre-load the tightener until the slot lines up with 1/2" bolt hole in the side plate and the bolt can be inserted. Tighten both bolts. SRW1000 08/17 Assembly Section 3-9 © 2017 Alamo Group Inc.
Page 42: Transport Lock Pin

The recommended tractor HP for the SRW1000 is 40-80 HP (30-60 kW). Operating the implement with a larger tractor will greatly increase the risk of damaging the implement.
Page 50: Power Take Off (Pto)
Before getting onto the tractor, the operator must read and completely understand the implement and tractor operator manuals. Page 52: Starting The Tractor
Use extreme caution when connecting the SRW1000 to the tractor. The SRW1000 should be securely resting at ground level with the parking jack foot. Place a block in front of and behind wheels to prevent the SRW1000 from moving. Keep hands and feet out from under the SRW1000 and clear of pinch points between the tractor and SRW1000.
Page 53: Connecting The Windrower Tongue To The Tractor
Implement and Tractor hitches. (S3PT-15) 4. To attach the SRW1000 insert the hitch pin through the drawbar and tongue clevis. Once the pin is inserted, attach the snap ring pin through the hole on the hitch pin and snap in place.
Page 54: Safety Tow Chain
Never leave a disconnected hose end open and cap the tractor hydraulic outlet ports when not in use. If the tractor ports, SRW1000 ports and hydraulic hose ends become contaminated, wipe clean with a rag before connecting.

4. Loosen the bolts holding the axle plates, and adjust the plates so the right axle is 1” lower than the left axle plate. This is to help bring material to the surface. Before each implement use, a complete inspection and service is required to ensure the implement is in a good and safe working condition. Damaged and/or broken parts should be repaired and/or replaced immediately. To ensure the implement is ready for operation, conduct the following. To remove tires for repair or replacement, securely block the frame. Relieve hydraulic pressure Shut off tractor, apply parking brake and disengage PTO. AVOID PERSONAL INJURY.
