OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS SCHULTE Flex-Arms are manufactured with quality material by skilled workers. These arms are designed to allow the operator to travel on the road while the 10’ or 15’ rotary cutter cuts the ditch slope. The rotary cutter is equipped with protective deflectors and/or chain guards to prevent objects being thrown from the mower by the blades, however, no shielding is 100% effective.
The minimum tractor HP for the FLX-1510 is 85 HP. The minimum tractor HP for the FLX-1510 configured for use with a 10’ rotary cutter is 75 HP. Operating the mower with a tractor that does not have enough power may produce a less desirable cut.
