Installation
Install Driftwood 1101DWK
Material required
• Long Beach Driftwood Kit, which contains:
• 3 logs
• 5 pebbles
• 1 x 1.5lb bag of 3/4" grey/black shale
• Gloves, if desired
Installation
Carefully unpack the kit.
Logs
Each log has pegs to help you place them on the burner
platform. Install the logs as shown below.
1. Place the left log on the left side of the ceramic
burner inserting its two pegs in the holes of the
burner.
Note:
There are two sets of holes for this log de-
pending which type of gas is uesd for the appliance.
Natural gas fi re:
Place the log forward in the fi re-
box.
Propane gas fi re:
Place the log rearward in the
fi rebox.

2. Place the right log on the right side of the ceramic
burner inserting its two pegs in the holes of the
burner. The rear end of the log rests on the pilot
shield.
Note:
