1.2 Target groups
This manual is intended for slingers and qualified persons. A slinger
is a person with suitable vocational training, training (see Training
courses, p. 14) and relevant professional experience. This qualifica-
tion must enable them to identify risks and avoid hazards that may
arise from using the PowerForce lifting straps. Qualified persons can,
amongst other things, assess whether the PowerForce lifting straps
are suitable for use and perform visual inspections.

1.4 Availability
These operating instructions must be kept close to the product and be
available to the user at all times. They must be retained throughout
the entire service life of the PowerForce lifting straps and handed
over, together with the respective PowerForce lifting strap, to the new
owner or user.

2 Product description

PowerForce lifting straps are single-layer textile slings based on
DIN EN 1492-1 made of polyester (PES) and high molecular weight,
load-bearing polyethylene (HMPE).
