REP 2.5 Punch Lower Exit Panel Replacement
PARTS LIST ON PL 3.1
Use this procedure to remove and install the Lower Exit Panel.
Removal Procedure
WARNING
Do not perform repair activities with the power on or electrical power
supplied to the machine. Some machine components contain
dangerous electrical voltages that can result in electrical shock and
possible serious injury. See Section 0, page vi for other languages.
1. Switch power OFF to entire printing system.
2. Disconnect the Power Cord.
3. Do REP 1.11 to remove Lower downstream Side frame cover.
4. Remove the screw for Ground strap.
5. Open the Front Door.
6. Remove the E-clips (2) from the Shaft.
Repairs/Adjustments
7. Remove the M4 screw for the ground strap.
8. Slide the Shaft out of place.
9. Remove the Lower Exit Panel.
Installation Procedure
1. Place the Lower Exit Panel in position.
2. Slide the Shaft into place.
3. Install the E-clips (2) on the ends of the Shaft.
4. Close the Front Door.
5. Connect the Power Cord.
6. Power ON the entire printing system.
