6.2.2 Header and Row Display Options

6.2.2.1 Header Options

The options listed in
Table 6.3
Manager window. These options organize the information in the database columns for easier viewing.
Option
Right-click on a header to display the following options:
Hide Column
Select Columns to Show
Show All Columns
Resize Column
Resize All Columns
Left-click on a header to do the following:
Sort Ascending/Descending

6.2.2.2 Row Filter Options

6.3 System Explorer Searches

The System Explorer can conduct a generic text search for system devices as follows:
1.
Click View > System. The System Explorer window opens.
2.
Enter the search text.
3.
Click Search. The results appear in the pane on the right.
4.
Click OK to close the System Explorer window.

Temporarily hides the selected data column. The column itself is not deleted, only hidden.
Opens a dialog box that allows the user to select the columns that are displayed.
Removes all previously applied column data filters so that all columns display.
Resizes the width of the selected column such that any hidden text is displayed.
Resizes the width of all displayed columns such that any hidden text is displayed.
Toggles between sorting the column data in ascending or descending order (numeric or
alphabetical).

Allows the Administrator to display all records according to the event and column that was
right-clicked on.
Allows the Administrator to exclude displaying all records according to the event and the
column that was right-clicked on.
Displays a dialog box which allows the Administrator to filter for a specific word or phrase
using keywords and/or the wild card character (%).
Allows the Administrator to return the History Manager window to the factory default filters.
Once this option has been chosen, all filters are lost unless they where saved using the "Save
Current Query" command.
