8.5 CLEANING FUEL TANK FILTER

Never use the gasoline while smoking or in the vicinity of an open
flame.
(1). Remove the Fuel Cap and Fuel Tank Filter.
(2). Clean the Fuel Tank Filter with gasoline. If damaged, replace it.
(3). Wipe the Fuel Tank Filter and install it.
(4). Install the Fuel Cap securely.

9. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

Transport or store the generator only if it has cooled completely.
Before transporting and storing the generator, proceed as
follows:
(1). Allow the generator to cool off before moving or storing.
(2). Close the Fuel Cap tightly.
It is important to prevent gum deposits from forming in essential fuel system
parts such as the carburetor, fuel hose or tank during long-term storage.
If the generator is going to be stored for more than six (6) months, the
generator should be prepared as follows:

9.1 DRAIN THE FUEL FROM THE CARBURETOR

(1). Loosen the screws and remove the Maintenance Cover.
(2). Take out the Drain Hose from the hole at the bottom casing, and put it into
a suitable container.
(3). Loosen the Drain Screw anticlockwise.
(4). Drain the gasoline from the Carburetor into the container through the
Drain Hose.
(5). Tighten the Drain Screw clockwise securely.
