Overview and Basic Operation

Color correction refers to various adjustments to the color video signal
(including black/white level, gamma, and knee values). You can carry out the
following operations.
• Input video processing
• Primary color correction
• Secondary color correction
• Output video processing
• Luminance processing
• RGB clip
• YUV clip
Note
To carry out color correction, the HKDS-7051 RGB Color Correction Board
Option
is required.

Basic Operation for Color Correction

The following is the basic procedure for color correction.

Chapter 7 Color Correction
Press the MISC button.
The MISC menu appears.
Press F5 (CCR).
The color correction top menu appears.
Press F3 (BUS) to select a channel for color correction.
Pressing F3 (BUS) selects channels 1 and 2 in turn.
Note
By installing the HKDS-7051, color correction can be applied
independently to two channels.
Press F4 (CCR) to turn on the color correction for the selected channel.
It is now possible to carry out color correction. You can also switch on or
off each of the adjustment functions within color correction.
