Carrying Out Color Correction
RGB clip value adjustment
This function allows you to adjust the dark clip and white clip values for the
red, green, and blue of the video signal.
Dark clip: Sets the minimum signal level.
White clip: Sets the maximum signal level.
Use the following procedure to carry out RGB clip value adjustment.

Note
Even if you adjust the clip values to eliminate illegal colors, if you apply
output video processing or YUV color correction, depending on the
parameter settings it is possible for those processes to result in illegal colors.

Chapter 7 Color Correction
Carry out step 1 of the procedure for primary color correction.
Select F4 (CLIP).
The RGB clip menu appears.
F2 (CLIP): Toggle on and off RGB clip value adjustment.
F3 (ADJUST): Access the adjustment item selection menu.
F6 (UNITY): Reset all parameters.
To reset the parameters
Press F6 (UNITY) to display the reset menu, then press F2 (EXEC).
This resets all of the parameters in the RGB clip menu, and returns to the
RGB clip menu.
To cancel the reset, press EXIT and return to the RGB clip menu.
Press F2 (CLIP), to turn on RGB clip value adjustment. (Press once more
to turn off.)
Press F3 (ADJUST).
The dark clip menu appears.
To switch to the white clip menu, press F6 (WHITE/DARK).
Adjust the parameters as required.
