Basic Processed Key Operation

The procedure for basic processed key operation is as follows.
1
In the key setting block, select the keyer (KEY 1).
2
In the key setting block, press the PROC KEY button.
This enables the processed key function for the keyer selected in step 1,
and displays the processed key main menu.
Note
If DME wipe is selected, it may not be possible to switch the processed
key function on.
For details, see the section "Relationship Between DME Wipe and
Processed Key Functions" (page 4-26).
3
Use the normal key setting operations to adjust the PROCV and PROCK
signals.
4
Carry out PROCV and PROCK signal processing on the DME.
Note
Make the settings so that the PROCK signal level is not affected by a
DME external key signal (so that the through output is obtained from the
keyer for the external key).
In the IN/OUT menu of the DME, set the key mode for the front and
reverse sides of the image to "External", and adjust both the clip level
and the gain to 0.00.
For details of the DME settings, refer to the HZS-7060 User's Guide
Volume 2.
5
Press the PROC KEY button in the key setting block once again, to
display the processed key main menu.
6
By operating the DME return processor, make adjustments to the video
signal and key signal returned by the DME, and carry out the
combination with the background.
