Figure 31: LDAP Server Configurations

The UCM6510 LDAP/LDAPS server supports anonymous access (read-only) by default. Therefore, the
LDAP client does not have to configure username and password to access the phonebook directory. The
"Root DN" and "Root Password" (limited with 64 and 32 characters respectively) here are for LDAP
management and configuration where users will need provide for authentication purpose before modifying
the LDAP information.
The default phonebook list in this LDAP server can be viewed and edited by clicking on
for the first
phonebook under LDAP Phonebook.

LDAP Phonebook

Users could use the default phonebook, edit the default phonebook as well as add new phonebook on the
LDAP server. The first phonebook with default phonebook dn "ou=pbx,dc=pbx,dc=com" displayed on the
LDAP server page is for extensions in this PBX. Users cannot add or delete contacts directly. The contacts
information will need to be modified via Web GUIExtension/TrunkExtensions first. The default LDAP
phonebook will then be updated automatically.
