TROUBLESHOOTING
ENGINE SURGES
Partially close the choke. Does the
engine speed stabilize?

Check the air cleaner element (page 3-4).
Clean
Check the spark plug (page 3-5).

Check that the governor system is installed
correctly (page 7-2).

Check the ignition coil air gap (page 8-7).
