Description
Shows which comm
link the SSMHD is
connected to.
Lets you change the
baud rate for this
comm link.
Lets you set how long
the sensor will wait
before responding to
a received message,
shown in milliseconds.
Default is 10 ms.
Turns on and off flow
control hardware
handshaking.
Details
If there's a green
border around this
section, SSMHD is
communicating over
the RS-232 line.
All Wavetronix
devices default to
9600 bps.
Change this if
you're using a
communication
device that can't
quickly change
transmission direction.
You may need this
if you connect your
sensor to certain
RS-232 devices (like
some modems) that
can't keep up with
the data rates of high
performance devices.
