Pilot control of the valve solenoid coils (auxiliary pilot air)

Internal auxiliary pilot air
Festo P.BE−CPVSC−EN en 0301a
Please note
If possible, operate the CPV−SC valve terminal with non−
lubricated auxiliary pilot air (connections 12/14). Other
wise observe the instructions in the section Preparing
the compressed air."
With CPV−SC valve terminals with internally branched
auxiliary pilot air, the above mentioned remark also
applies to the supply air (connection 1).
Depending on the left−hand end plate fitted, pilot control of
the valve solenoid coils can be carried out with internal or
external auxiiary pilot air. The following pairs of end plates
are available for the CPV−SC valve terminal:
left−hand end plates for internal auxiliary pilot air
right−hand end plate with large surface mounted silencer
left−hand end plate with connection 12/14 for external
auxiliary pilot air, right−hand end plate with large surface
mounted silencer
left−hand end plate for internal auxiliary pilot air
right−hand end plate with connection 82/84 for ducted
exhaust
left−hand end plate with connection 12/14 for external
auxiliary pilot air, right−hand end plate with connection
82/84 for ducted exhaust.
If the supply pressure lies between 3...7 bar, you can operate
the pilot control of the valve solenoid coils with internally
branched auxiliary pilot air.
