Troubleshooting
Possible cause
Control unit for Ecolift
XL redundant valve was
temporarily disconnected from
the power supply (connection to
main control unit). Power supply
has been restored
The optical probe of the control
unit for the Ecolift XL redundant
valve is faulty
Pump starts up too often at
short intervals
Flap cannot be closed
completely, i.e. flap is blocked
by an object
Backwater has been detected
and the flap cannot be closed
completely, i.e. flap is blocked
by an object
Connection cable between main
control unit and control unit
for Ecolift XL redundant valve
faulty.
System configuration is
for system with redundant
backwater flap (2 motor-
driven flaps) although there is
no redundant backwater flap
present.
Cable break or motor faulty
Remedial measure
Fault message can be
acknowledged.
Check the probe and replace if
necessary
Check system design, if
necessary inform Customer
Services
Remove the mains plug,
disconnect the battery; Open
the flap cover and remove the
blockage, put the system back
into operation
Close the emergency closure
(hinged flap, if present).
Following the end of backwater,
eliminate the blockage as
described above. For installation
of the flap cover the flap motor
has to be in the CLOSED
position.
Check / repair cable connection
Check and correct configuration
Disconnect the system from the
power supply, deactivate the
battery; Check cable for correct
connection and passage; Check
motor for function, replace if
necessary
