Initial operation

Avoid the wastewater pump(s) running dry at all costs, it/they could become damaged. Never switch
wastewater pumps on if the wastewater tank is not sufficiently* full.
* above level OFF 1 or OFF 2

3.9.1 Initialising the control unit

Connect the control unit to the mains supply, initialisation begins. While the LEDs light up for approx. 5
seconds, the electrical components are checked, the battery for power outage signals and emergency
operation actuated and menu 3.10 Language displayed. Then initialisation can be carried out.
During initialisation, the following input is expected:
– Language
– Date / Time
– Product type
– System type
– Capacity
– Maintenance interval
Language
Press OK
Select the required language using the cursor keys and confirm with OK, the date/time menu then appears.
Date / Time
Set the flashing figures in date and time one by one and confirm with OK. Following the last entry, the menu
Product type appears.
Product type
Select backwater lifting station Ecolift XL Mono or Duo and confirm with OK, the menu System variant
appears.
System variant
Select the appropriate system variant and confirm with OK, the menu Capacity appears.
Capacity
Select the appropriate capacity and confirm with OK, the menu Maintenance date appears.
If "special pump" is selected, the following parameters (see operating menu chapter) must be set:
- Min. current (3.1.4)
- Max. current (3.1.5)
- S1/S3 pump operation (3.1.21)
S1 = Pump suitable for permanent running
S3 = Control unit monitors the pump switch-on time (max. run time set in the menu)
