Comfort Plus control unit: Press the test key to check the function of the operating valve

Remove dirt and deposits

Check sealing gaskets and sealing surfaces for perfect condition; if necessary replace the
sealing gaskets

Check the mechanisms of the moving sealing parts, if necessary re-grease

Carry out a function test to establish the airtightness of the operating valve (motor)

Test and clean the electric probe
12.6
Remove the screws, pull the probe out of the cover

Immerse the probe in water

The operating valve must close, the optical and acoustic warning device must trigger

Push the probe with sealing gasket into the cover, screw in place

Check that the insert flap housings and flaps are fitted correctly

Shut off the pressure line, close the gate valve and open the ventilation device so that the
pressure pipe is emptied

Lift out and clean the pump.

Make sure the pump is not damaged in any way.

Replace the pump flange sealing gasket
14.3
Clean the tank via the pump flange, clean the ventilation bore on the pump flange

Install the pump again. Tightening torques of the screws: 7 Nm

Clean and check the backwater flap, replace sealing gasket, backwater flaps

Replace the manual closure for the pressure pipe (locking lever)

Pressure pipe: Visual inspection of the pressure pipe and testing of the clamps (pressure
pipe)

Remove the immersion pipe and clean with water

Replace the sealing gasket of the immersion pipe, check the air hose CAUTION when
refitting the screw attachments (make sure of correct fit).

Clean the optical probe (alarm probe) with water if soiled (clean the probe only, not the
O-ring and seat here)

Test and clean the electric probe

Remove the screws, pull the probe out of the cover

Immerse the probe in water

The operating valve must close, the optical and acoustic warning device must trigger

Push the probe with sealing gasket into the cover, screw in place

Check the ventilation pipe to make sure it is routed via the roof and clear

Open the gate valves. The gate valves must be able to be operated easily and smoothly.

Switch the device on again

Carry out the function test following steps 1-7

Read out the log book via USB port
27
Close the chamber cover from the outside
