Operation

Determine unit status

4.1
The AE Sensor USB interface features two LEDs. They indicate the unit
status.
Connection Status LED Indications
Description
Cable is not connected. Check cable connection to PC.
USB Interface is connected and powered but no connection to
imaging software is detected.
USB Interface is connected and powered and connection to PC
is detected.
Ready for acquisition.
Sidexis server not configured (from Sensor Plugin Configuration
page).
Sensor Status LED Indications
Description
Sensor is not connected. Connect sensor and start Sidexis 4 (or
other imaging program).
Error condition, such as incompatible sensor.
Xios AE sensor and USB Interface are connected. Sidexis is
configured properly and has detected the USB Interface. Start
Sidexis 4 (or other imaging program).
USB Interface is transferring image from sensor to PC. LED
flashes for duration of the image transfer.
