Explanation/action
The belt may need to be replaced.
1. Press the Continue button.
2. If problem persists, notify your service representative.
The registration mechanism (rephaser and belt) will not
allow rephasing to occur.

A paper registration shift (actual versus optimum belt-hole
to registration-finger distance) has exceeded an NVM-
defined millimeter limit.
1. Check delivered output for the image off the paper.

2. If problem persists, notify your service representative.
An unexpected sheet is stopped at the stacker.
1. Clear the paper in the stacker.

The front safety cover of the HCSS finisher is missing.
1. Discard the purged output.
2. Close the finisher from the cover.
3. Press the Continue button.
A multifeed caused too many sheets to remain in the
duplex tray, preventing the set separator finger from
actuating the tray empty switch once the correct number of
sheets had been fed.
1. Discard unusable sheets.
2. Press the Continue button.
3. If problem persists, notify your service representative.
