housing present.
Replace developer waste
container (full or not
present).
Toner waste container
not present.

by toner sensor.

CDM lost machine clock.
MIR lost machine clock.
Explanation/action
Printer type (50 ppm vs. 92 ppm) and color developer
housing type do not match.
1. Open the front left door.
2. Remove the incorrect color developer housing.
3. Install the correct color developer housing.
4. Close the left front door.
The developer waste container is full or not present.
1. Open the front left door.
2. Replace the container.
3. Close the left front door.
The toner waste container is not present.
1. Open the toner waste container access door (rear
door).
2. Insert a toner waste container.
3. Close the toner waste container access door (rear
door).
4. Press the Continue button.
The toner waste near full sensor has been activated and
more than 1000 pitches have occurred.
1. Open the toner waste container access door (rear
door).
2. Remove the full toner waste container.
3. Insert an empty toner waste container.
4. Close the toner waste container access door (rear
door).
5. Press the Continue button.
Black dry ink is too low.
Add black dry ink toner.
Color dry ink is too low.
Add color dry ink toner.
There is a machine clock sensor problem, a CDM board
failure, or a harness problem between the machine clock
sensor and CDM.
1. Discard purged output.
2. Press the Continue button.
3. If problem persists, notify your service representative.
The failure may be caused by a CPM or MIR board failure
or a harness problem between CPM and MIR.
