Servicing and troubleshooting
Problem
Every time you switch EasyOne Air
on, you are prompted to enter
Date etc.
When you start a test, you see the
following message: "Please insert
EasyOne FlowTube correctly"
EasyOne Air is outside of ±3.5%
when conducting the calibration
check.
The curve is missing on the
printout.
When printing a report, the printer
prints meaningless characters, or
the printer does not respond.
If EasyOne FlowTube is not
inserted correctly or if the
EasyOne FlowTube detection is not
working correctly.
Wireless connection to external
device is not working correctly.

Possible cause
The internal battery of EasyOne Air is
defective.
The EasyOne FlowTube is not correctly
positioned.
The EasyOne FlowTube is not correctly
positioned.
You have not used an ndd adapter.
There are leaks in the syringe connection. Check the connections.
The specified syringe volume does not
correspond to the actual syringe volume.
The ink cartridge of your printer is empty. Replace the cartridge.
In the configuration of your EasyOne Air,
a black and white printer is selected, but
you actually use a color printer.
A wrong printer type has been selected in
the settings.
The printer cable is not correctly
connected or is defective.
The printer is not switched on or is not
ready.
EasyOne Air is not correctly positioned on
the base unit.
An EasyOne FlowTube was inserted while
EasyOne Air was switched on the
instrument, or the EasyOne FlowTube was
not inserted correctly.
Bluetooth is not enabled,
or distance is too far,
or Bluetooth is already connected to
another device.

Solution
Consult your EasyOne distribution
partner or the ndd Servicing Department.
Ensure the EasyOne FlowTube is inserted
correctly and fully pushed in.
Insert the EasyOne FlowTube correctly.
Use the EasyOne FlowTube cal check
adapter.
Choose the correct syringe volume under
"Configuration".
Go to "Configuration", then "Report
Settings" and select the right printer.
Set the correct printer.
Switch off the spirometer and printer.
Check all plug connections.
Ensure that the printer is switched on and
also has paper. Switch the printer off and
back on again.
Insert EasyOne Air correctly into the base
unit.
Try again with the EasyOne FlowTube
inserted correctly. If you receive the same
message again, contact your
EasyOne distribution partner or the
ndd Servicing Department.
Enable Bluetooth (configuration),
make sure device is close enough (within
5 meters or 16.4 feet),
check setup.
