• The OS7200 MCP, 4WLI and WIM module are NOT allowed in an OS7400 system
• Although the MGI64 and TEPRI2 can be installed in any universal slot of the
OS7400 expansion cabinet, it is recommended that they be installed in the MAIN
cabinet in order to utilize the full capacity of the cards. The main cabinet slots are
64 channel slots and the expansion cabinet slots are only 32 channels. Therefore,
installing a TEPRI2 or MGI64 in the expansion cabinets will only give you half of the
capacity for these cards. Installing them in the MAIN cabinet will give you the full
capacity of these cards.
• A Maximum of 1 GWIM per cabinet and 2 GSIM's per cabinet can be installed.
Every OS7400 cabinet must have an LP40 card installed in slot 0
including the MAIN cabinet. Even a single cabinet system requires an
LP40 card. If the expansion cabinet is an OS7200 cabinet, then it must
have an OS7200 LCP card installed in slot 0.
