Set the main switch to "
Remove the seat, see 6.1.1 (REMOVING THE SEAT).
Unhook the elastic band (1).
Release and remove the negative (-) terminal screw (2).
Slide the negative lead (3) aside.
Lift the red protective cap (4).
Release and remove the positive (+) terminal screw (5).
Slide the positive lead (6) aside.
Do not pull on the wiring.
Wearing latex gloves, grasp the battery (7) firmly and remove it from its
compartment by lifting it.
Once removed, the battery must be stored in a safe place out of the

reach of children.

On refitting, connect the positive (+) lead first, then the negative (-) lead.

Remove the right footpeg, see 6.1.6 (REMOVING THE FOOTPEGS).
Remove the air scoop pipe (1).
Release and remove the two screws (2).
Unscrew and remove the screw (3).
Remove the fan guard (4).
IMPORTANT
on the cylinder air scoop guard.

Replace the rubber section resting on the battery if damaged.

When refitting, position the fan guard slot correctly into its seat
