Function
The product is a self-testing, redundant mechatronic system that meets the requirements of the EN
ISO 13849-1+2 and guarantees the pneumatic safety function, safe venting, even in the event of a
fault in the valve, e. g. due to wear or contamination. Another safety function of the product is the pro-
tection against unexpected start-up after EN 1037.
Via the safety-related electrical connection, the product is connected as a slave to the AS-i-Safety at
Work environment without additional devices.
