You can configure the floppy disk interface in the BIOS Setup Utility. You can choose the
3.5" (common) or 5.25" drive types with densities of 360kB, 720kB, 1.2MB, 1.25MB,
1.44MB or 2.88MB. Refer to the Main Menu section of the Appendix B: BIOS Operation
chapter for more information on configuring the floppy drive.
You also can disable the floppy-disk interface in the I/O Device Configuration Submenu.
