Modem Connection
STEP4: Select "Modem Connection" from the Connection Type field.
The display of the Preferences Area will change to suit a Modem connection.
STEP5: Set items (1) to (7).

Choose the RS-232C port of PCPro to which the modem is connected
from the following:
• COM1 to COM8 (default: COM1)
* An usable COM port detected by PC is displayed.
Select the dialing type of the line used for communication.
• Tone/Pulse (default: tone)
* This item is only for Modem Connection.
• Up to 40 digits (default: blank field)
Enter a character string used by the modem to clear the communication
link.
• Up to 50 single-byte characters (default: ATH)
