Reparation instructions

Replacing articulated steering bearing

• Remove the engine according to the earlier
description (see "Removing engine").
• Block up the ride-on mower in front of the
articulated steering.

• Release the tensioning wheel spring (1).
• Disconnect the brake wire tensioning spring (2).
• Disconnect the brake wire (3) and the speed
control wire (4) and remove the wire attachment
plates.

Rider 20 ProFlex
• Release the tensioning wheel spring (1).
• Remove the locking clip and disconnect the
speed control ball joint from underneath, then
free the wire from the bottom of the axle.
• Undo the nuts on the brake wire and prise the
wire off the brake arm.
• Disconnect the wire from the differential lock, see
"Removal/installation of hydrostatic transmis-
sion".

• Loosen the steering wires (1) and remove the
steering rim.
• Remove the pulley (2). Move the lower part
forwards, the upper part backwards and detach
the pulley.
