9.1.3 Weighing with tare

 Taring
The dead weight of any weighing container may be tared away by pressing a button,
so that the following weighing procedures show the net weight of the goods to be
weighed.
• Place the weighing container on the weighing pan and close the draft shields,
as required.
• Wait until the stability display appears (
and indicator (Net) appear. The weight of the container is now internally
saved.
• Weigh the material.
• Wait until the stability display appears (
• Read net weight.
• When the balance is unloaded the saved taring value is displayed with
negative sign.
• Taring negative values is not permitted. Any attempt to tare negative
values will result in error message "Err 3"
• The taring process can be repeated any number of times. The limit is
reached when the whole weighing range is exhausted.
You can assign the tare weight to a product in the database. Selecting
the product will automatically load the tare weight, see chap. 15.2.1.
 Automatic tare function
When the automatic tare function is enabled <P2.2.2 AUTOTARA YES > the weight
on the pan will first be saved as tare, see chap. 9.3.6
