13.1 Automatic adjustment using internal weight (models AEJ, PLJ)

With the internal adjustment weight, the weighing accuracy can be checked and re-
adjusted at any time.
The automatic adjustment function is always enabled. You can start adjustment at
any time by pressing the CAL-key manually.
Temperature / time controlled adjustment is taking place:
Two minutes prior to automatic adjustment „CAL" in combination with a clock and
thermometer icon will be shown at the upper edge of the display.
or
The user must complete his/her weighing process within this time. After two minutes [
CAL 30 ] appears on the display.
This starts a "count down" of 30 seconds [ CAL 30 ] → [ CAL 0 ]. You may cancel
adjustment during these 30 seconds by pressing the TARE-key. This makes the
balance return to weighing mode in order to e. g. complete an unfinished
measurement.
After approx. further 5 minutes the automatic adjustment will restart and [ CAL 30 ]
appears.
You may interrupt the adjustment process several times. However, keep in mind that
an interruption of the adjustment may lead to incorrect weighing results.
The adjustment log will be printed automatically if an optional printer is connected.
For defining an adjustment log see chap. 14.1 / <P5.1 Adjustment log>.
