SCANNER UNIT
6.5.8 SENSOR BOARD UNIT CALIBRATION
PURPOSE: Perform the SBU auto calibration using the SP mode in the following
cases:
• When the MPU is replaced
• When the standard white plate located behind the original scale is
replaced.
PROCEDURE:
1. Place about 10 sheets of paper on the exposure glass.
2. Turn on the main switch and access the SP mode (Clear Modes ⇒ 1 ⇒ 0 ⇒ 7
⇒ Clear/Stop).
3. Select SP6-32-1 (SBU Auto Calibration).
4. Press the Enter (#) key to start.
NOTE: When the sequence is successful, "Completed" is displayed on the
display.
