6.5.4 XENON LAMP

1. Remove the exposure glass and operation panel. (See 6.1.1 Exposure Glass,
Operation Panel, and Upper Covers.)
2. Remove the scanner frames. (See 6.5.2 Scanner Frame.)
3. Remove the connector cover [A] (1 screw).
4. Press the lamp holder [B] down with a screwdriver, as shown.
5. Slide the xenon lamp [C] forward and remove it (1 connector).
klqbW= Do not touch the glass surface of the xenon lamp with your fingers. klqbW= klqbW= klqbW=
6. After installing the new lamp, press the lamp holder up to the original position
so that it can hold the lamp properly.
