3.2.2. Progress of the test for segmented displays
1. The display is gradually filled in with the „8" character. After filling in all of the characters, they are displayed for ap-
proximately 1s. The display is then gradually cleared off.
2. Afterwards, it is gradually filled in with numbers (0-9), and after filling, it is gradually cleared.
Printer tests allow verification of printer functionality and its operating circuits. If an error occurs during some of the
tests, proceed according to the chapter on printer malfunctions.
3.3.1. Printing test
Launching the test:
1. Use the
[Right arrow] or
2. Start the test by pressing
Progress of the test:
1. The entire set of characters will be printed in standard size, as well as a report about the completion of the test.
3.3.2. Testing the thermal printer platen position sensor
Launching the test:
1. Using the
[Right arrow] or
2. Start the test by pressing
Progress of the test:
1. The actual position of the print platen is depicted on the display.
2. As the roller mechanism is moved, the depiction on the display changes according to the actual position.
Finish the test by pressing
3.3.3. Testing the paper ribbon sensors
Launching the test:
1. Using the
[Right arrow] or
2. Start the test by pressing
Progress of the test:
1. The display will show the actual state of the paper ribbons in the sensors.
2. Putting in and removing of the paper from the sensors causes the depiction to change on the display according to
the presence of the paper in the sensor.
End the test by pressing
The keyboad test allows you to check the proper functioning of the cash register's keyboard keys.

2. Start the test by pressing

[Left arrow] keys to select the test Printing.
[TOTAL].
[Left arrow] keys, select the test Head position.
[TOTAL].
[TOTAL]. Upon completion of the test, the printer will print a report about the test.

[TOTAL].

3.4. Keyboard test
[Left arrow] keys, select the test Keyboard.
