fORWARD leVeR

The Forward Lever controls the
engagement of forward drive to the wheels
and counter-rotating tilling with the tines.
To operate the Forward Lever:
1. Put wheels in WHEEL DRIVE position
(see "WARNING" statement).
2. Depress and hold the lever against the
handlebar to start the wheels going
forward and tines rotating in a reverse
direction.
3. Release the lever to disengage (stop)
the wheels and tines (the engine will
continue to run).
WARNING: Never pull the tiller toward you with the tines engaged.
WARNING: DO NOT till in reverse.

ReVeRse leVeR

The reverse lever controls the reverse
motion of the wheels and forward motion of
the tines. To operate the Reverse Lever:
1. Put wheels in WHEEL DRIVE position
(see "WARNING" statement).
2. Ensure all tiller tine motion has
stopped before re-engaging tines.
3. Depress and hold the lever against
the handlebar to start the wheels in
reverse and tines rotating in a forward
direction.
4. Release the lever to disengage (stop)
the wheels and tines (the engine will
continue to run).
