3-8 PULL HITCH INSTALLATION

NOTE: SEE FIGURE 3-8 FOR PART NAMES.
3-8.1 Install pull hitch to frame using hitch pins,
flat washers, and 1/4 X 2-1/2 cotter pins.
3-8.2 Assemble the hitch ring assembly to the
pull hitch as shown with the recess down us-
ing 1-8 x 8-1/2 hex head cap screw, flat
washers, hitch bushing, and hex lock nut.
3-8.3 Install jack on pull hitch using 5/8-11 x
1-1/2 hex head cap screw, jack pivot bracket,
hex lock nuts, 1/8 X 1 cotter pin, and detent
pins.
NOTE: Use jack mounting tube on right side of
pull hitch for correct angle on jack.
3-8.4 For all models except 1200-7R and 7C, in-
stall hose bracket on pull hitch with special
nut and 1/2-13 hex nut. On models 1200-7R
and 7C, install hose bracket and hose
bracket mount on pull hitch with special nut
and 1/2-13 hex nut, 1/2-13 x 1-1/2 hex head
cap screw, and hex lock nut.
3-8.5 Install the radius rod assembly attached to
the pull hitch to the top hole of the mast join-
ing plate with radius rod pin and 1/4 x 2 cot-
ter pins.
