Remove the hand grip from the parking brake
(Figure

Loosen the set screw

At the bottom of the machine, loosen the
rear-jam nut for the threaded adjuster of the
parking-brake cable 4 turns

Tighten the forward jam nut

Rotate the brake-adjustment knob
until a force of 133 to 156 N∙m (30 to 35 ft-lb) is
required to engage the parking-brake lever.

knob by loosening it and set the
parking-brake lever with a a force of 133
to 156 N∙m (30 to 35 ft-lb); perform the
following:
