Replacing set screws
Replace any set screws that are protruding or recessed too much with suit­
able ones. For approved set screws, see the section "Technical data" (see
Page 30).
7 Handling
1) To release, press the release button on the side (see fig. 1 (1)) and
rotate the prosthesis. The position of the button is marked by a deeper
profile of the protective cap.
→ Subsequently the prosthesis can be rotated from the initial position
without holding the button.
2) Upon reaching the initial position, the rotation movement is locked auto­
matically.
8 Maintenance
Annual safety inspections are recommended in the interest of the patient's
safety and in order to maintain operational safety.
8.1 Replacing the protective cover for the release button
CAUTION
Non-compliance with safety data sheets
Injury due to skin, eye and respiratory tract irritation.
► Read the appropriate safety data sheets before working with 634A58
isopropyl alcohol, 636W145 adhesive and 636P4 primer.
► Wear suitable protective gloves during processing.
INFORMATION
Inspection for contamination or damage
Check the following points after removing the protective cap:
► Condition of the groove (a) in the housing (Gummikappe abziehen).
► Penetration of foreign bodies in the area around the release button.
The protective cap is not a seal to prevent the penetration of liquids, but pro­
tects against coarse contaminants (mud, sand etc.). If the protective cap
comes loose during the service life or if the cap is damaged, it has to be
replaced with a new protective cap.
