All Kits are for a pair of joints!
INFORMATION
The knee joints must be checked for wear and tear every six months.
When the knee joints are subjected to extreme environmental influences
(e.g. high air humidity, industrial dust, patient's incontinence etc.), the
inspection must be carried out every three months at least.

7 Patient information

Please make sure that the patient is informed about the following items:
CAUTION
Improper use by the patient
Injuries due to falling
• If your orthosis is provided with knee locks, be certain that both knee
locks are activated before standing up!
• Do not make any adjustments or modifications on the knee or ankle
joints.
Regular inspections
Check your orthosis / joint regularly for damages of adjustable
straps / buckles (such as tears, loosening). If you ascertain any problems,
please contact your orthopedic technician.
If the knee locks fail or any problems with the orthosis (joint bar) occur,
please contact your orthopedic technician immediately.
