Otto Bock Silicone ArmLiner
The Otto Bock Silicone ArmLiner provides excellent suspension,
increased comfort, and reduced shear forces. It is made of a bielastic
material that offers good stability and durability.
When putting on your prosthesis while wearing the Otto Bock 14Y1
Silicone ArmLiner with pin, it will click audibly when the Otto Bock
14A110 Lock is engaged.
Putting on the Silicone ArmLiner
Attention
Do not apply the Silicone ArmLiner directly on injured
skin!
Roll the Silicone ArmLiner all the way down and place your residual
limb in the very end of the sleeve (fig. 1). Roll it up evenly and gently,
being careful not to push too much fleshy tissue out of the top of
the sleeve (fig. 2).
Attention
Make sure no wrinkles or air pockets are present!
Note:
It is important to roll the Silicone ArmLiner up gently; never pull
it onto the residual limb!
Caution
When putting on the 14Y1 Silicone ArmLiner, be sure
the pin is correctly positioned to lock onto the Otto Bock
14A110 Lock. You must hear it click into place (fig. 3).
With the arm prosthesis on (fig. 4), use the release button
to disengage the lock between the 14Y1 Silicone ArmLiner
and the prosthesis (fig. 5).
To take the Silicone ArmLiner off, roll the liner down (fig. 6).
