11. From outside and under the cab, disconnect the machine's harness connector from the bulkhead and remove
the nut and lock washer used to secure it.
NOTE: This connector will be connected to the SmarTrax system later in the procedure.
12. From inside the cab, pull the machine's harness connection from its mounting hole.

13. Connect the machine's harness connector to the mating connector on the node harness.
14. Route the 31-pin node harness connector into the hole from which the machine's harness connector was
removed.
15. From outside the cab, secure the node harness connector to the machine's bulkhead using the nut and lock
washer removed in step 11.
