When the Image is Not Correctly Produced
onto the Screen
Problem
The data transferred
onto the screen is dis-
placed or its edge is
missing.
Characters are not trans-
ferred correctly onto the
screen (the font of the
transferred characters
differs from the original).
Graphics are not trans-
ferred correctly onto the
screen.
Images are deformed/
reduced in size.
The original size regis-
tered in the [Original size
entry] dialog box is not
shown in the list.
Values cannot be
entered in [Custom] of
the [Original size] tab.

Does the size of the original data cre-
ated on the application software
exceed the image area?
Is the output of the application soft-
ware set to "Use Printer Fonts"?
Does the printer driver support the
machine?
Does the printer driver support the
machine?
Did you click [Add] in the [Original size]
tab after entering the size?
Has an original size with the same
name already been registered?
Did you try to enter a value that
exceeds the setting range?
When an imaged screen is produced, margins are
added on the Top and End sides of the original data.
In addition, any part outside the image area will not
be transferred onto the screen.
Check the frame type and the size of the original
data.
In the application, specify other than "Use Printer
Fonts".
When original data is edited after a printer driver
that does not support the machine is selected,
graphics may not be transferred correctly onto the
screen.
After selecting the driver supporting the machine,
edit the original data and produce an imaged screen
again.
Be sure not to produce an imaged screen after
selecting a printer driver that does not support the
machine.
Click [Close] in the [Original size entry] dialog box to
close the dialog box, and then click [OK] (or [Apply])
in the [Original size] tab.

Register the original size with a different size name.
The original sizes that can be entered are:
0.39" to 11.69" / 10 mm to 297 mm in width and
0.39" to 31.50" / 10 mm to 800 mm in length. Enter a
value within the range.
