    B Do not connect the USB cable until you are instructed to do so. Insert the [RISO Printer Driver] DVD-ROM into your computer’s DVD-ROM drive. The installer starts. If the installer does not start, double-click the [Setup(.exe)] file in the folder below.

Remove the [RISO Printer Driver] DVD-ROM from the DVD-ROM drive of your computer. B Keep the removed DVD-ROM in a safe place.

    Connect the RISO printer to the network and configure printer network settings (such as the IP address) in advance. B Use a commercially available Ethernet STP cable (10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX, category 5 or higher) appropriate for your network environment.

    B When connecting to a commercial print server on the network, refer to the instruction manual provided by the manufacturer. Insert the [RISO Printer Driver] DVD-ROM into your computer’s DVD-ROM drive. The installer starts. If the installer does not start, double-click the [Setup(.exe)] file in the folder below.

B When printing by using a USB flash drive, be sure to create a dedicated folder in the USB flash drive. Printing is disabled from USB flash drives that do not have a dedicated folder.

To open this dialog, click [Preferences] in the [Print] dialog. By interrupting your print jobs, you can check print position and quality with test prints before the printing process or change the print job flow according to your print requirements.

    Creating a RISORINC-format file You must create a RISORINC-format file before sending data via FTP. B RISORINC-format files can only be used with RISO printers. All settings made in the Printer Driver are saved with the file. Adding a Local Port for RISORINC Files Open the Properties dialog box.
