Installing the Avaya G350 Media Gateway
If the ground block is not being used:
1. Attach the Supplementary Ground Conductor to an approved ground.
2. Connect the AC power cable to the inlet receptacle on the rear of the chassis.
You have now mounted the fully equipped G350 Media Gateway and connected to electrical
ground conductors. You are now ready to connect power.

Step 4: Connect power to the G350

After you have mounted the G350, installed the media modules, and attached grounding
conductors, you can connect power to the G350.
To connect power to the G350:
1. Connect the power cable to the power connector on the G350 back panel.
2. Plug the power cable into a mains socket. The G350 is now powered. The PWR LED on the
front panel lights. The CPU LED lights up if the firmware is running. At least one LED on
each media module, except the S8300, lights up initially and then goes off after about 20
seconds.
