Upgrading a CTS 3000 to a CTS 3200
The following are the summary steps that you perform to upgrade a CTS 3000 system to a CTS 3200
system. Detailed information about the steps you perform are referenced in these steps.

GEFEN EXT-HDMI-144 or EXT-HDMI-144-BLK
This model has an internal DIP switch with 7 switches. To access it you must remove 3 small screws
on the bottom of the unit and 3 on each side (total of 9 screws). You must also unscrew the HDMI
locking nuts (5 total) and the lock nut on the 5v DC power input jack. Top/Back should slide off,
DIP switch is opposite the HDMI input jack.
You must set the DIP switch to Mode 7 according to the manual. Switches 1, 2, and 5 must be set to
the ON position.
Connect the video (projector) input to the connector labeled HDMI 1. Connect any auxiliary
displays to subsequent outputs.

This model has two buttons on the back labeled Reset and EDID. Pressing EDID switches the LED
light on the front between Int and Ext.
Set the EDID to Ext and connect the projector to the connector labeled HDMI 1. Connect any
auxiliary displays to subsequent outputs.

This model, is similar to the EXT-HDMI1.3-144 and has two buttons on the back labeled Reset and
EDID.
Set the EDID to TV connect the projector to output port 1.
