Configuring the Wireless Network Connection

for Windows 2000
To configure the wireless network connection for Windows 2000:
Refer to "Windows 2000 LAN Configuration Setup" on page C-10 and

perform the first two steps to open the Network and Dial up Connection dialog
box. Then in Step 3, right click Wireless Network Connection.
The Local Area Connection Properties dialog box opens.
Continue with Step 4, and then in Step 5 change the IP address from

192.168.0.82 to 192.168.0.83.

NOTE Once you have entered the IP address for the wireless network
connection, your computer will automatically select the local area network
(LAN) connection when connecting a LAN and the wireless connection
when removing the LAN connection.
Continue with Step 1 through Step 3 to begin setting up the FTP service. Then

in Step 4, change the IP address from 192.168.0.82 to 192.168.0.83.

Refer to "TPU LAN Configuration Setup" on page C-23 and connect a

Terminal PC running HyperTerminal to the DEBUG connector.
Verify that the VAC/12 VDC switch is in its center position which is off.

Switch the RUN/STANDBY switch on the TPU to RUN.

Switch the VAC/12 VDC switch to VAC to apply AC power to the TPU and

turn in on; switch to 12 VDC to apply DC power and turn it on. Refer to the
CAUTIONS on page 5-10.
NOTE It is normal for a spark to occur when connecting the DC power
cable to a battery, as the inverter is being powered up.
When the TPU begins to boot up, press any key.

Change the IP address from 192.168.0.82 to 192.168.0.83 for "host inet (h)."
