Step 3 On the Installation Type page, click Role-based or feature-based installation and then
click Next.
Step 4 On the Server Selection page, click Select a server from the server pool and select the local
server. Then, click Next.
Step 5 On the Server Roles page, both the roles and features that have been installed and those that
are not installed are displayed.
The installed roles and features are gray and labeled with Installed. In the factory installation
phase, roles Web server(IIS) and File And Storage Services are added.

Step 6 After checking the factory configuration, click Cancel. You are returned to the dashboard
page.

4.7.1.3 Configuring Local Users and User Groups

Windows Storage Server 2012 is installed on the N2000 server at the factory, with one
administrator configured by default. To facilitate management of server share rights and
quotas, you can create different users and add them to different user groups based on the
actual service plan and demand.
