8.3 Write Protect Mode
〈CAUTION〉
This is a preset factory default setting mode which is used to restrict the
changes in parameters or the functions concerning the measurement
accuracy, performance and measurement values of this equipment in
order to avoid any troubles related to these matters during the use of this
equipment for the purpose of custody transfer, and so on.
In the case that a target parameter is changed or a target function is
executed during the Write Protect mode, "Write Protect" or "Do not
write" message is displayed on the PC application screen of the smart
communication unit EL2310 and any operations are not accepted. Also, as
you cannot set or cancel the Write Protect mode by yourself, please ask
your supplier when setting or canceling is necessary.
※The following operations can be executed even during the Write Protect
mode.
・Self-diagnosis function
・Simulated output function
