Connection to the power
supply; notes for the installer
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Faulty electrical installation or excessive
mains voltage may result in an electric
shock.
The hob may be connected only by au-
thorised specialists such as our Techni-
cal Service (see "Our Customer Service"
on page GB-24). This also applies when
disconnecting from the power supply
and dismantling the old appliance. Un-
authorised persons may not establish a
connection to the power supply. You can
endanger yourself and subsequent us-
ers!
As the appliance cannot be disconnected
from the mains via an accessible discon-
necting device, an all-pole disconnecting
device in accordance with overvoltage
category III must be connected with-
in the house installation with at least 3
mm contact clearance; this includes fus-
es, circuit breakers and guards.

Connection conditions

– The hob is designed for alternating current
220 – 240 V~ / 380 – 415 V 3N~ / 50 Hz.
– A separate power supply is required.
– The hob may be connected only with the
pre-installed network connection of type
H07RN-F with a conductor cross-section
of at least 4 x 2.5 mm².
