Important user information

The glass ceramic hob is intended to be fitted
in a kitchen worktop or the like. If you have
the requisite skills, you can fit the hob your-
self. However, the electrical connection must
be carried out by authorised specialist staff.

Requirements

To ensure proper operation, the following re-
quirements must be met:
– The hob complies with heat protection
class 'Y' (EC 335-2-6), which means that
with higher kitchen furnishings or walls it
may be installed on only one side. The
built-in furniture must have coverings and
the adhesives used must be heat-resistant
(100 °C). If this is not the case, this can
lead to deformation or detachment of the
covering surface. If you do not know the
thermal resistance of your kitchen furni-
ture, leave a gap of approximately 2 cm
between the furniture and the stove.
– The distance between the hob and the ex-
tractor hood must be at least 760 mm.
– Always install exhaust hoods in accord-
ance with their user manuals.
– Do not place the cooker directly next to a
refrigerator or freezer. This will increase its
energy consumption unnecessarily due to
heat dissipation.
– Below the complete recess you must leave
at least 50 mm of free space for ventilation
purposes. In this area, there must not be
any heat-sensitive objects (cabinet bases,
drawers etc.). Any side walls or drawers
which are present must be sawn out or
dismantled accordingly.
